Sex and the Married Mommy

It's hard to be a mom and still feel sexy, but it can be done. Even though I am a married woman with three kids, I am still a sexual creature. Sometimes it takes a lot of effort, but it is worth it to keep the passion in my marriage alive.

My husband loves to brag about me to his friends or whatever guys will listen. He loves to talk about his "sex goddess" wife. Not only do I write about sex, sexual topics and erotic fiction, I genuinely love sex and I'm not afraid to admit it, so that got me labeled as the "sex goddess" by some of his friends. Some of the wives of those men call me to ask for advice. I've even put together gift baskets full of books, videos, lingerie, toys, lubricants and plenty of tips and tricks for a couple of them.

I have always been interested in sex. I was born a sexually creature. I have read every book, magazine and website that I can find about sex. I was reading books about sex while my friends were still playing with Barbie dolls. Growing up in a female centered household taught me how to cultivate and use my sexual powers.

52 Weeks of Naughty Nights

Valentine's Day....what to get for hubby. Sigh...I used to be really good at getting presents for him. I think I've lost my mojo.

The DVD I gave him for Christmas...Seymore Butts Merry Fucking Christmas...I don't even know if he's watched it. Not that we get much time to watch private things like that, not in a house full of children running around. It's amazing we even get to have sex anymore. Anyway, I thought he would like it because he used to watch the Seymore Butts show on cable, what was it? Oh yes, Family Business I think.

So now I have a dilemma about what to get him for Valentine's day, other than me of course. I think I am going to institute a new form of inspiration into our sex play - 52 Weeks of Naughty Nights. I found it at SexToy.com and we are going to start on Valentine's Day.

"Sensual thrills, kinky surprises, erotic expressions of love and playful games of seduction are all temptations that you can expect to find inside 52 Weeks of Naught Nights. Simply pull a card from the satin pouch and see what naughty surprise awaits you and your lover." `This is what is printed on the box.

Sounds like fun. It comes with a year's supply of naughty scratch off cards for him and for her. I think that starting on Valentine's Day then every week after, one of us will pick a card and plan to do whatever is on the card that week. It'll make one of us have to be responsible for the seduction not just leave it all up to chance and see who's not too tired to make the first move.

For instance I withdrew a card for Her and scratched it off. I got a blindfold card that sets the scene for a sensual evening involving silk scarves and arousing foreplay. Certainly nothing new and nothing we haven't tried before but hey, it's something we haven't done in awhile so why not.

I guess the biggest thing in a long term monogamous relationship is keeping things new and exciting. For the most part we've been there, done that. But what I am learning now is so what. Who says you can't do things that you like more than once, or twice? I love to garden, doesn't mean I am going to do it once then stop. No -I do it all the time. I guess married couples should take the same approach. Do what you like over and over.

I think 52 Weeks of Naughty Nights will be a bit of inspiration. Draw the cards on Sunday or Monday then plan the seduction all week, it can happen spontaneously at any time. It gives us something to look forward to beyond work, kids, housework and the day to day drudgery that usually exhausts us.

So that is just one gift I am going to pull out of my sexy bag of goodies, but I think it'll be the gift that really keeps on giving. Amazing how the simplest things can be the best.

Now I just need to figure out what else to get for him. I think we have enough sex toys to play with right now and he's not much for male lingerie or funny boxers. Candy is overrated and cliche' but he does have a sweet tooth. I guess I am off to shop for Valentine's Day.
