Making Christmas Sexy

He continued to talk while she watched him. He led her around the first floor to the open windows and recreation rooms. Everything was of the highest quality. Pride boomed in his voice with each word that slipped past his lips.

She allowed him to lead her up the stairs. Once they reached the landing, she gasped. In between the wooden pillars, the upstairs waiting room took up most of the floor. She spotted the million candles lining the windows.
As she moved in closer, she spotted the lit fireplace and living room set on the furry white carpet. The area was huge and cozy. Warmth emanated from the setting. The scene was magical and seductive at the same time.

* blink blink * Huh?

Hello! Welcome to Cole and Maddy’s world! We’re here to talk about Making Christmas Sexy. I’ve just given you a peek of Maddy and Cole’s idea of what makes a sexy Christmas or at least the start of one…who knows what is going to happen next? Lol

Christmas is one of my favorite holidays! The snow, the presents, the cheer, and of course the annoying Christmas music that plays right after Thanksgiving is done. You know it’s addicting no matter how much you complain about the music getting into your head.

My idea of making Christmas sexy involves a snowy scene, a fireplace burning and spreading warmth, and of course spending it with your significant other! (Sorry, Santa, you’re out of the drawing.) I love snow! Okay, the first snow fall at least, but imagine spending Christmas at a nice lodge where all you see is white? I know it sounds cold…but if you’re inside the lodge, hanging out by the fireplace with a cup of hot chocolate warming your hands and snuggling in your lover’s arms, what more could you ask for? The whole scene just spells seduction and love!

What is your idea of Making Christmas Sexy? What elements do you need to be happy?

Blurb:

Ever since her divorce, successful Event Planner Maddy Glover dreads visiting her hometown. For the first time in three years, she returns home for the holidays and finds herself caught at the end of an avalanche. Only to be rescued by the one man she’s determined to avoid: her ex-husband.

Ambitious and desirable Cole Harmon lives to rebuild the town and to forget the woman who hadn’t believed he had enough to offer her—until Maddy shows up in her cute city-slicker attire and sexy black boots. In need of a decorator for the holidays, he hires his ex-wife to help, only to be thrown into dark buried memories and snowy encounters that may thaw the ice between them. Will their love rekindle or will Maddy walk away once again?

Excerpt:

“Let me go.”

He paused. Latching onto control and restraint, he dropped his hands with reluctance.

Maddy’s boot pivoted and she fell, landing in the snow. She glared up at him. He blinked then mirth struck him full force. She looked too adorable sitting on the ice, eyes darting fire. He almost doubled over when she cursed out loud.

“It’s not funny.” She huffed as she tried to stand.

Taking pity on her, Cole stifled his laughter and helped her up. Then, turning her around, brushed the snow off her ass. He tugged her skirt back into place, but couldn’t help lingering over the bottom curve of her butt and gave her a light pat.

“Stop that.” She moved away and frowned.

Cole grinned. He knew that look. She had it every time she was irritated over some thing, but couldn’t decide. “Stop what?” he asked, innocently.

Her eyes narrowed. “You know what I’m talking about. Every time you touch me, something happens.”

He crossed his arms and leaned against the door. “Like what?”

Her fingers balled into fists at her sides. “Cole Harmon, don’t you dare mess with me. You know what I’m talking about.”

Cole chuckled and reached into the back seat for the suitcase. “We better get you inside and dry that cute butt of yours before it freezes in the cold. Wouldn’t want you to get frostbite before you go back to the city.”

Maddy growled. She rushed past him to the driveway. He watched as she slowed her steps and carefully trudged to the door in her dangerous heels.

He grinned.

She hasn’t changed all that much.

Great excerpt, funny too.

My idea of making Christmas sexy would have to start with somehow getting rid of the 4 rugrats. Then I would like to head up north to the cabin with DH, sit in the sauna, run back into the cabin through the snow, to a roaring fire and a nice bottle of wine!
